Jazz saxaphonist John Stubblefield was born in February 1945, in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He has worked with many top artists including Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye, and Diana Ross. Enja Records says Stubblefield "was a pioneer in fusioning ethnic music and funk/jazz on Bushman Song."
